CROSS COUNTRY

 

Participants will train in distance running through practices and meets. The Cross Country program will begin Thursday August 24th, and go through October 9th. Practices will be held on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. For practices, participants will meet on the east side of Pleasant Grove Recreation Center 547 South Locust Avenue, some practices will be held at Manila Creek Park (Pond).  Meets will be held on Mondays at 5 or 5:30 pm at various locations throughout the county. Meet distances will range from 1k to 4k. Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from all cross country meets.

• AGES: 7 to 15 (Birth Year 2008-2016)
• REGISTRATION: June 1 - August 18
• REGISTRATION FEE: Residents - $50.00; Non-residents - $70.00
  • After August 19 a $5 late fee will be charged and registration will only be taken at the Recreation Center on a space-available basis.
  • Registration: June 1- August 18 or until filled
• SEASON: August 24 - October 9
• PRACTICE TIME: 5:30 to 6:30 pm
• PRACTICE LOCATIONS: Meet on the East side of the Recreation Center or Manila Creek Park
• MEET DAY/ LOCATION: Mondays at various cities, located throughout the County.
