At QuickScores, we recognize that privacy is important. This Policy applies to all of the services
offered by QuickScores. If you have any questions about this Policy, please feel free to
contact us.
QuickScores is a website that provides a service to its clients, which are organizations that
administer sports leagues and tournaments. These client organizations in turn provide a service
to the athletes that participate in the leagues and tournaments. This privacy policy will address
both of these separate populations – organizations and athletes.
|
Contact information – We maintain contact information (name, address, phone,
and email) for the individuals who actually use the website to create leagues and
tournaments. For some organizations, we maintain similar information for those
in the organization responsible for processing our invoices, such as business managers
or accountants. We also try to maintain contact information for a few levels of the
chain of supervisors and managers above the schedulers, both to keep them informed
about QuickScores status and improvements, and to contact in the event one of the
trained schedulers leaves the organization.

Cookies – When you visit QuickScores, we may send one or more cookies -
a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer that uniquely
identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service,
such as to remember who you are after you have logged in and move from webpage to
webpage. We may also use cookies to store some information about your preferences
and tendencies when visiting QuickScores. By better understanding your needs and habits,
we can often anticipate your next move and make QuickScores more user-friendly.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser
to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some
QuickScores features and services may not function properly if your cookies are
disabled.

Log information - When you use QuickScores, our servers automatically record
information that your browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs
may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser
type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies
that may uniquely identify your browser. When someone from a client organization logs
into QuickScores to create, maintain, or delete a schedule or tournament, the actions
taken may be logged by the QuickScores software. This logging is performed for several
different reasons. First, to determine which clients are actively using their websites
and which ones have not used their website in months. Second, the logs sometime reveal
a client that is struggling to perform some function, and QuickScores staff can offer
helpful hints on how to perform the desired task. Third, the logs occasionally reveal
a client attempting to defraud QuickScores, such as creating a schedule for a real
league that is to be played, printing out the schedule, and then quickly deleting the
league in hopes of not being invoiced.

of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the
quality of our website and to customize content.
